EXPERIENCE Lead Designer:
Livemocha: November 2010 - Present

- Managing the design process and progress. I oversee all design projects and approve designs before they go into production.
- Developing Livemocha's marketing strategies; collaborating with Project Managers, our Enterprise and SEO teams, and Copywriters to create the visual voice. Designing marketing ads, emails and other print brochures and handouts, to suport these initiatives. I also design (electronic) newsletters promoting these sales, and services, in addition to, welcome and other informative emails. I also develop marketing assets for third party clients and partners, designing banners and graphics within appropriate specifications.
- Designing and developing a new UI, look and feel for livemocha.com. I also successfully presented a rebranding proposal to our CEO and his team. After approval, I managed the development our new logo, new website design, and style guide.
- Designing a robust course authoring tool as well as the front end dynamic interactable and social web app (for the iPad) it supports.

Game Artist:
GameHouse Studios, a division of RealNetworks: August 2007 - November 2010

- Designing online multi-player community games for Facebook. All games are designed and developed using Flash and Flex Builder.
- Programming CSS for the UI in MXML using Flex, designing and publishing vector and bitmap assets using Flash and Photoshop.
- Concepting new game ideas, creating design documents and presenting ideas to the team.
- Utilizing viral marketing to promote games, through friend game invites, notifications, and emails.

Senior Designer:
GameHouse Studios, a division of RealNetworks: May 2005 - August 2007

- Developing GameHouse marketing assets by designing innovative animated ad banners and graphics to promote GameHouse products and services for our weekly game release cycle. In addition, I created the weekly (electronic) newsletters promoting these game releases, sales, and services. I also developed marketing assets for third party clients like AOL and Yahoo, designing banners and graphics within appropriate specifications.
- Managing the game release process. Which included, attending weekly meetings to decide what games, sales, and/or re-release promos we would launch.
- Managing the QA process fixing and following though with bugs (with gamehouse.com games and our weekly newsletter).
- Publishing all marketing content on gamehouse.com. Using website layout and management tools to make any necessary updates and/or changes to gamehouse.com, setting up and gathering web marketing statistics through tracking, updating online promotions and animated banners, launching new games, and syncing our servers.
- Promoting GameHouse Mobile Games' site through gamehouse.com, designing ads and promotions, setting up newsletters, implementing microsites through gamehouse.com, and setting up web tracking.
- Designing and helping implement FunPass (GameHouse "all you can eat" subscription service), designing the artwork, logo, and front end html programming, creating all promotional ads and newsletters.

Lead Designer:
Mt Baker Snowboard Shop: July 2001 - May 2005

- Supervising and recruiting a team of designers to participate in the planning and development of mtbaker.com.
- Designing and developing the conceptual image of mtbaker.com and all related print collateral including; advertisements, promotional gifts and the shop's clothing line.
- Increased web site's traffic statistics from approximately 50 visitors a day to 1,500 visitors a day through web page layout and marketing strategies.
- Communicating ideas and preparing files for printers and embroiderists for the shop's clothing line.
- Supervising and recruiting a team of designers for the design/development of the shop's clothing line.
- Consulting with sponsors, photographers, and featured pro-snowboarders for marketing and promotion material.
- Consulting and managing relationships with vendors/distributors.
- Gathering information and product images, including digital photo shoots, adding products into the shopping cart and other relative maintenance.
- Identifying and resolving technical problems and/or concerns promptly.
- Site mapping.
